In an earlier post on David's partnership with the great Alan Freeman I included the tune "Whiskey Before Breakfast" from their cassette, Hogfiddler's Fancy. Today I found this historic video treasure completely by accident! Twenty-four minutes of David Schnaufer and Alan Freeman performing at the first Kanawha Valley Friends of Old Time Music and Dance Festival in 1981, three years before David moves to Nashville. And, of course, they play "Whiskey" among many others of their favorites. I can't stop grinning as I watch this! Many thanks to FOOTMAD for posting this video. .
